Go Ride Returns to Bolsover

After a year on hold Go Ride returns to Bolsover & District Cycling Club on Friday 28th April 2017, it will take place at the Castle Leisure Park, Villas Road, Bolsover S44 6QD with registration and bike checks at 6pm and sessions starting promptly at 6.15pm, a finish time of 7.15pm -  7.30pm anticipated.

The first block of Go Ride dates will be held on 28th April, 5th May, 12th May, 19th May, 26th May, 9th June and 16th June. Cost for a young rider attending a Go Ride session is £3 per session.

Go Ride events will be published to the club event calendar soon.

“Go Ride is British Cycling’s development programme for young people. The programme provides a fun and safe way to introduce young riders to the world of cycling sport and provides a platform to improve bike handling skills.”

Go ride is suitable for all riders riding pedal bikes with (preferably) gears and a minimum of 2 working brakes. The skills young riders will learn are generic across all of cycling’s varied and fun disciplines and will develop a young rider’s confidence and overall cycling ability. Our Go Ride coaches will be providing sessions suitable for all levels of rider ability.
