B&DCC Road Rides are group rides, mostly social, though some more performance focussed training rides do happen. We require all members to follow our rules to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all riders is maintained and the club respects other road users.
- Wear a helmet
- Comply with the Highway Code and ride respectfully at all times
- Be prepared for mechanical issues (Spare inner, pump, tyre levers at least)
- Have the route loaded on your navigation device, if you have one
- Look after the rider behind you, check they are there, shout up and slow down if they are not and signal hazards so they can avoid them
