Go Ride is British Cycling’s development programme for young people. The programme provides a fun and safe way to introduce young riders to the world of cycling sport and provides a platform to improve bike handling skills.
Go Ride is suitable for all children riding pedal bikes, ideally with gears, and with two working brakes. The skills young riders will learn are generic across all of cycling’s varied and fun disciplines and will develop a young rider’s confidence and overall cycling ability. Our Go Ride coaches will be providing sessions suitable for all levels of rider ability.
In addition to our coaching sessions, we offer family rides on traffic-free, off-road routes suitable for kids and parents throughout the year.
There is more information for parents on the British Cycling site here.
B&DCC Go Ride session details and family rides are shared via our dedicated B&DCC Go-Ride Facebook Group. Like and Follow our page to keep up to date with our latest sessions, rides and news.
