Manchester BMX Track Club Trip @ National Cycle Centre | England | United Kingdom

In celebration of another SUCCESSFUL CYCLOCROSS SEASON the Go Ride Coaching Team is hosting a club social on Sunday 18th March from 17:30 – 20:00 at the National Cycling Centre.

Come and taste the thrill of riding the National BMX Track in a 2 hour coached session suitable for all ages and all abilities.  Or come and spectate and join us for food and a Cobra beer on the famous Curry Mile when it’s over?

Come on your own, or make up a group and travel to Manchester together.

The BMX session is suitable for all ages and will be progressive and guaranteed FUN!  By the end everyone will be riding with confidence, racing fast and furiously and even learning some stunts if the fancy takes them.

Riders will need to be ready to sign on at the National Cycle Centre (Stuart Street, Manchester, M11 4BZ) by 17:30.  Children will need to have eaten before the session starts.  There is a café on site which is open until 19:00 if anyone wants to meet for a meal first.  Extra drinks and snacks can be taken in to the arena.

There is also a purpose-built outdoor skills zone and a series of fun graded MTB trails adjacent to the cycle centre at Clayton Vale if families would like to make it in to a longer day out.  Highly recommended if it’s a fine day and if you’ve not ridden at Clayton Vale before.

The cost is £20 per rider which includes coaching and equipment.  Wear leg cover and long sleeved bike tops or hoodies, and bring track mitts or gloves.

Please complete and return the Attached Slip to goride@banddcc.org.uk if you would like to join the trip and book and pay online with EventBrite here.

Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible!

Best wishes

The B&DCC Go Ride Coaching Team – Allison, Craig, Kieren, Steven and Ruth
